Shine Bright Quilt Along Details
This fun quilt along is happening from November 2023 to October 2024. They’ve revamped the old Shine On Sampler Quilt that was originally published in The Bonnie & Camille Quilt Bee book with the new Lighthearted fabric collection by Camille Roskelley. This new coloring of an old quilt pattern creates a refreshing twist. The quilt will be a big one, with 29 blocks and a generous size of 68.5″ x 80.5″. Month 6 is the Evening Star quilt blocks. For the final quilt we need 4 of these blocks in different color ways.

Shine Bright Month 6 Block Creation Process:
Evening Star
The Evening Star block is a simple 8 point star. It is made with 4 flying geese blocks and 5 squares. The color placement for the blocks is such that the star points are white and the rest of the block is made of two coordinating fabrics of the same color. This gives an inverted appearance from last month’s Eight Point Star blocks.
I made one red, one dark pink, one green, and one gray quilt block.
Shine Bright Sampler Month 6: A wrap up
That’s a wrap on the Shine Bright Sampler Month 6 quilt blocks. This was an easier month to complete with just 4 identical blocks to be made. There are so many quilts and projects in The Bonnie & Camille Quilt Bee book that are confident beginner friendly. I highly recommend this book for its many beautiful quilt projects.
