Quilt Along Supplies

This quilt along only requires a few supplies. First is the Triangle Gatherings quilt book. This book has 100 different layout ideas using just half square triangles. You will also need half square triangle papers in the size that you need based on the quilt block size you choose to do. On Lisa Bongean’s blog, you will find instructions for 4″, 6″, 8″ or 12″ blocks. I am making the 6″ block size.

Weekly Quilt Blocks

This weeks block numbers were 51 and 57. These numbers give you the layout for the half square triangles for the center of the block. The block is then offset with flying geese on the edges. Here are my completed quilt blocks for this week.
