A mini charm pack quilt is a great small project to add to your quilting lineup. Today I am going to share a mini quilt that makes a lovely table topper or wall hanging that uses 2 mini charm packs.

Mini Quilt Club
My local quilt shop, Clothesline Creations, is hosting a monthly mini Moda club. Each month a page number is drawn to correspond with a quilt project in the Moda Candy booklet. Each project will use 1 or 2 mini charm packs and some coordinating yardage.
Mini charms are packets of 2.5 inch fabric squares. Each one contains 42 pieces of a fabric collection. Usually it will have 1-2 of each print.
The first month’s project needed 72 pieces from the mini charm pack and background yardage. I chose to use the Strawberry Lemonade fabric collection by Sherri and Chelsi.

Mini Charm Pack Quilts
Mini charm pack quilts are so easy to work with since they are already cut to 2.5″ squares. It took me an afternoon to piece the entire quilt top.
Mini Charm Quilt Finishing
To finish the quilt, I used the edge to edge pantograph Susan from My Creative Stitches. I used a simple white solid backing and bound the quilt with the same background print I used throughout.
I hope you enjoyed this look at my month 1 project from the Moda Candy Shop booklet using mini charm packs.
Note: This booklet is a little older and hard to find.
