Shine Bright Quilt Along Details
This fun quilt along is happening from November 2023 to October 2024. They’ve revamped the old Shine On Sampler Quilt that was originally published in The Bonnie & Camille Quilt Bee book with the new Lighthearted fabric collection by Camille Roskelley. This new coloring of an old quilt pattern creates a refreshing twist. The quilt will be a big one, with 29 blocks and a generous size of 68.5″ x 80.5″. Month 7 is the Flutter block, the Friendship Star, The Good Times Block, and the Happy Day quilt block.

Shine Bright Month 10 Blocks:
Rainbow Block
The super sweet Rainbow Block is so fun. I think a whole baby quilt made in various colors would be so darling. One to keep in mind for the future if I need a baby quilt. I made just one of these Rainbow Block in the soft pink, grey, and red from the quilt along fabric bundle.
Sparkling Star Block
Are you ready for my favorite quilt block of this entire sampler quilt? Let me introduce the Sparkling Star Block. I don’t know what it is about this block, but to me it’s just so stunning. It has a nice contrast with plenty of background fabric, but the movement in the spiral center of the block just gives it a little something extra. So lovely.
Spring Block
The final block is the teal, pink, and white Spring Block. This block is made up of a combination of squares and rectangles laid out in design that appears to have a bow tie center. Simple and cute.
