Shine Bright Quilt Along Details
This fun quilt along is happening from November 2023 to October 2024. They’ve revamped the old Shine On Sampler Quilt that was originally published in The Bonnie & Camille Quilt Bee book with the new Lighthearted fabric collection by Camille Roskelley. This new coloring of an old quilt pattern creates a refreshing twist. The quilt will be a big one, with 29 blocks and a generous size of 68.5″ x 80.5″. Month 7 is the Flutter block, the Friendship Star, The Good Times Block, and the Happy Day quilt block.

Shine Bright Month 9 Blocks:
Nine Patch
This block is about as easy as it gets when it comes to quilt blocks. This small nine patch block is exactly as it sounds. Nine squares are arranged in a grid of three by three. For this block, we also trimmed it with a border of the white background print to make them a little larger for placement in the final quilt. We need two of these blocks for the final quilt.
Plaid Block
The plaid block is also a super simple block. Despite the way it looks, it is a 25 patch quilt block with creative color placement, you get the illusion of a plaid pattern in the two variations of this block that were made this month.
