Designer Mystery 2024 Finished Quilt

The Designer Mystery 2024 Quilt-Along has officially come to an end, and I’m so excited to share the finished quilt with you! Over the past twelve months, I pieced each block and assembled the rows as I went. That meant when the final block was finished, all I needed to do was attach the last row, add the borders, and get this beauty ready for quilting.

Quilting & Finishing Touches

To finish the quilt, I long-armed it using the Dogwood Bouquet pantograph from Anne Bright Designs. The flowing floral motif added just the right touch of softness to the quilt’s bold block designs.

For the backing, I used the backing kit from Fat Quarter Shop, which featured a floral print from the My Summer House fabric collection. This kit also included an exclusive Designer Mystery label, which I attached to the back of the quilt before quilting. It was a lovely detail that made this project feel truly special.

The final touch was a light striped binding, which framed the quilt beautifully and tied everything together.

Final Thoughts

This Designer Mystery 2024 finished quilt has been such a joy to create from start to finish. Each block from each designer individually had so much uniqueness, and together they make a quilt that feels both cohesive and charming. Adding the label, quilting, and striped binding was the perfect way to complete this special project.
