✨ Big News: I’m Opening a Quilt Shop Next Fall!

If you’ve been following my quilting journey for a while, you know how much I love fabric, community, creativity, and helping others find joy in quilting. Today I finally get to share something I’ve been dreaming about for a long time…

Yes—an actual real-life, walk-in, touch-the-fabric, gather-with-friends quilt shop!

This dream has been in my heart for years, but over the last several months it’s become very real. We just met with a builder to start making plans, and the shop will be built on a beautiful piece of property just a couple miles from my home. Standing there, imagining shelves filled with fabric, cozy cutting tables, quilts hanging everywhere, and a space full of laughter and creativity…it felt surreal.

Of course, big dreams take big planning (and lots of patience 😉). There are permits, timelines, design decisions, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes work that has to happen before those doors officially open. It’s going to be a long process, but I couldn’t be more excited to walk through it and bring you along every step of the way.

🛍️ Step One: Launching an E-Commerce Quilt Shop

Before the brick-and-mortar shop opens next fall, I’ve launched an online store first. This will help me begin building inventory, developing systems, and serving customers well ahead of opening day. I’ve been busy learning the behind the scenes work of adding an online shop to my existing blog platform. And I’ve been happily ordering lots of fun fabrics that will be coming in slowly over the next year. I already have a pretty robust store front right now!

That means:

Carefully curated quilt kits
Beautiful fabric collections and basics
Notions I truly use and love
And lots of inspiration!

Opening the online shop first allows me to learn what you love most, refine what I carry, and start building the heartbeat of this business with you.

The shop will be more than just shelves of fabric. It will be a place of connection, classes, inspiration, and encouragement. A place where friendships grow and creativity thrives. I really have it on my heart to bring the younger generations into the love of quilting. I have always had the heart of teaching and can’t wait to share my knowledge with everyone in person!
