Jolly Bar 5 Quilt Along – Final Quilt Reveal
We’ve reached the grand finale of the Jolly Bar 5 Quilt Along with Fat Quarter Shop, and I’m so excited to share my finished quilt! After 10 blocks, weeks of sewing, and lots of fabric fun, it all came together into a beautiful Christmas sampler I’ll treasure for years to come.

About the Finished Quilt
The Jolly Bar 5 Quilt finishes at 76.5 inches square. It’s a generous throw or small bed quilt that brings together traditional block construction, clever layout choices, and festive fabrics into one stunning piece.
At the heart of the quilt is the Scattered Stars block, the largest block in the quilt along, and a perfect choice for the centerpiece. In each of the four corners, I placed the Holly Berry blocks, creating a lovely visual frame and drawing attention to the center.
The remaining blocks—including Windflower, XOXO, Northern Lights, Timberland Roses, Variations, and more—are placed on the four sides of the quilt. These blocks were all finished at 16.5 inches square, and I added sashing to unify them and create visual breathing room between each unique design.
A final border finishes the quilt, adding size and helping frame the center structure with a clean, cohesive look. It really pulls the entire layout together and gives the whole quilt a polished edge.
Reflecting on the Quilt Along
This quilt along was such a joy from start to finish. I used the Berry & Pine collection by Lella Boutique for all of my blocks, adding in Christmas Magic Dot as the background to keep everything light, festive, and unified across the design.
Each block allowed me to try something a little different—whether it was playing with layout, mixing values, or refining my half square triangle game! The variety of techniques made the process fun and rewarding, and I loved seeing how the sampler evolved one block at a time.
I finished the quilt off with the stunning “Winter Star” pantograph by Longarm League.
